Dancing in the Rain, LLC (aka: Dancing in the Rain) cares about you and your privacy.  We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors, subscribers, and clients/students. Dancing in the Rain designed this privacy policy in order to inform our users the way we collect any kind of information from them and how we use that information. By interacting with Dancing in the Rain online, subscribing to one of our email lists, and/or participating in any Dancing in the Rain activities (dance lessons, group classes, parties, special events, etc…), you agree to the terms of this privacy policy.

Information we collect

  • When you contact Dancing in the Rain directly via email or one of our message forms on our website, we keep your message and collect your personal information in order to communicate with you based on you inquiries and interest in the services Dancing in the Rain provides. The communication forms on our website are created using Wix, Dubsado, or MailChimp.

  • When you subscribe to any of Dancing in the Rain's email lists, we collect personal information from you such as: names, phone numbers, emails, mailing address, anniversary/wedding dates, etc… We use this information to communicate with you via our email lists hosted by MailChimp, standard email, telephone, and/or mail. We use MailChimp to communicate with subscribers about the services we offer, dance related tips, upcoming events, and more. You may unsubscribe to these email lists anytime.

    • We use MailChimp to gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our.

    • When you register for our classes/events, we collect your personal information and ask permission to add you to a MailChimp email list. We use this information to tell you about upcoming dance classes/events/etc…, to keep you informed about our programs, to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. You may unsubscribe anytime.

  • Dancing in the Rain stores any comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and testimonials you post online or send to us directly via email.

  • When you purchase tickets to one of our events or pay tuition for any dance lessons/classes/workshops/etc… The only information Dancing in the Rain collects is your personal contact information such as: names, phone numbers, emails, mailing address, anniversary/wedding dates, etc… Dancing in the Rain processes payments using Square through Square Point of Sale, our Square online store, Wix apps, and Dubsado. Dancing in the Rain does not save your credit card information anywhere, this data is secured through the software listed above.

Social Media

Dancing in the Rain uses social media sites to communicate with visitors, potential students, active and inactive students. We use Facebook and Instagram primarily. Dancing in the Rain uses SmarterQueue to schedule social media posts. We use cookies to help with our social media advertising. See our cookies policy below. We have Pinterest and Twitter acounts which we are not using currently.

Dancing in the Rain uses cookies to better understand and communicate with our visitors and clients. Dancing in the Rain uses cookies to collect information about our visitor behavior patterns and permit us to use the data collected to improve our marketing across the internet. Our cookies are associated with our use of Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Facebook pixels. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.
